Steps for Investing with AssetBuilder
Joining a new investment company can seem like a daunting task sometimes. At AssetBuilder we want to make this process simple and as easy a possible for you. We have separated our process into 4 steps.
1. Find your direction of investing
We need to determine which portfolio is right for you. Start off by taking our online survey. Answer 4 easy questions and get an idea of where you fit in our investment strategy and which portfolio might be right for you. Once you have finished our calculator you will need to fill out our client information form and email, fax it or mail the form back to us.
2. Getting the gears started
Once we receive your client information form one of our AssetBuilder team members will contact you to assist you in your portfolio selection and help determine what accounts you need to open.
3. The paperwork
The paperwork is always the hardest part but at AssetBuilder we like to help fill out the forms for you and only let you handle the secure information. One of our team members will send you a checklist with a series of prefilled information forms. You need to fill out the remaining pieces of the form make sure you have everything on the checklist and fax or mail back the forms to AssetBuilder. Once we receive your forms we can open an account with Schwab. This process usually takes 2-3 business days.
4. Funding
Once an account is open you may begin funding. One of our team members will contact you with an account number for Schwab and give you specific funding instructions. Funding is the longest step in our process and the amount of time is depending on your specific instructions.
Once you are funded you are set to go with us. We offer our monthly results in the growth of wealth application where you can see how much one dollar grows each month. You can also see the historical data of our portfolios on the Couch Potato Results page And in the future, all of our funded members will be able to log onto our dashboard and check the daily performance of their portfolio.
